The residence, born with the name of Residence Meublè Cortina, is located in Quinto di Treviso, in an ideal position for exploring the natural, cultural and historical heritage of the area.
A few kilometers from the Residence is Treviso. The city is surrounded by magnificent countryside, full of vineyards, orchards, olive groves and small villages. Cervara Oasis
The Oasi Cervara is located about 3 kilometers from the Residence Meublè Cortina, near Quinto di Treviso. It is a naturalistic area of about 100 hectares, which constitutes one of the main green lungs of the Venetian plain. The oasis is managed by the WWF and was established in 1987 to protect the flora and fauna of this area. It is located near the Cervara torrent, and its waters are an important source for the local fauna, including the rich birdlife.
It is possible to visit the oasis through different paths that cross the meadows, wetlands, woods and cultivated fields. Cycling and canoeing excursions can also be organised. The most famous path is the one that leads to a small 17th century chapel, located on top of a hill which offers a splendid view of the entire oasis.
Treviso-Ostiglia cycle path
The Treviso-Ostiglia cycle path is one of the most beautiful cycle paths in Italy. It winds for about 120 km between the beautiful province of Treviso and the city of Ostiglia, on the embankment of the river Po. Along the way you can admire the natural beauties of the Sile Valley, the Livenza Valley and the Piave Valley. The cycle path is built on one of the sections of the Via Romea Germanica, a Roman road that crossed Europe from north to south.
The cycle path consists of a dirt path with a maximum width of 2.5 meters and a dirt surface. The route is marked by signs, indications and maps to help cyclists find their way around. The cycle path is the ideal route to enjoy the landscape and to make stops at various points and interesting places.
Park of the river Sile
The Parco del Fiume Sile is a natural park of over 600 hectares located in the province of Treviso, near the municipality of Quinto di Treviso. The park offers a great variety of natural landscapes, from woods of trees, to the swamp of the river Sile, to the beaches and recreational areas.
